LOCATION
The Koh Chang Islands National Park covers the Chang island and other
smaller isles within Trat territorial waters. All these lovely places have
an abundant and thriving coral reef and underwater marine environment.
Koh Chang the largest among the 52 islands of Trat. Covering an area of 429
sq. kilometers, it features fine beaches, coral reefs, and plentiful marine
life. It is also rich in natural resources, teeming with hills, forests,
waterfalls and streams, the latter being an important source of freshwater.
Dotting the island are many fruit orchards.
THE FERRY PIER AN ACCESS TO KOH CHANG THE SALAK KOK BAY
The east of Koh Chang, Ao Sapparot bay, where a ferry landing is situated,
The most government offices, the police station , Koh Chang hospital are
located here. Along the eastern shoreline is a road that cuts through to the
SALAK KOK bay and end at the Ao Salak Phet , a community and a boat pier in
the south of the island. However, care should be exercised while driving for
the roads on Koh Chang are unpaved, with steep hills in some sections. The
best places for viewing coral reefs are at Ao Khlong Son , near Koh Chang
Noi , and around the islands to the south of Koh Chang Koh Rung, Koh Wai,
Koh Lao Ya.
Koh Chang's coastlines are dotted with lots of gorgeous beaches-some
straight as a ruler while some undulated like a wave in action.
The island is also a wonderland of colorful corals, clear blue water,
fascinating wildlife and marine life, high peaks, steep cliffs, scenic
waterfalls, lush jungles and undisturbed rainforest. However, Koh Chang is
just the beginning of a journey to the hidden wonders of its fifty-one
sister islands The wonders are waiting for you to explore!

We traveled to all over Thailand to find difference kinds of materials for
the resort constructions as the old recycle pepper core woods, some parts of
old carts, rotten mats, wooden shingle and palm leave roofs. You might see
how deep for our intention to do in every details of decorations in the
buildings, rooms, furniture and appliances, everything in tropical style
including the garden you can find many kinds of tropical plants too.

GETTING TO KOH CHANG
By car
From Bangkok , Drive on Bang Na-Trat Highway or Motorway to Chonburi,
Klaeng, and proceed to Trat province about 315 kilometers to Lam-ngob
district to take ferry to Koh Chang at the Center Point Pier . The ferry
takes 30 – 40 minutes .When you reach Koh Chang please tune left for 16 kms
to the Salak-kok bay and welcome to the SPA Koh Chang resort.
By bus
Take the air-conditioned bus from either Ekamai at the cost of 275baht or
from Morchit, 289 baht to Trat. Then take the minibus to salakkok from Wat
Klang (Trat department store)to the resort at the cost of 120 baht (ferry
ticket included)
Time wat klang minibus schedule: 10 am ,12am, 3pm on week days, 12 am , 3pm
on weekends. The other way from Trat to Koh Chang is take the local bus
(song taew) to Lam-ngob at the center point ferry pier and get the hourly
ferry to Koh Chang Or you can take the Express bus from Ekkamai to Lamngob
Twice a day (7.45 am and 9.45 am). At the Center point ferry pier then you
can catch the ferry (40 minutes) to Koh Chang
After you arrive at Koh Chang please contact the SPA Koh Chang directly by

arrange taxi to pick you up from piers to the SPA cost 250 baht/person/trip
,Local taxi will charge you more as the private trip.

you already on the ferry or arrive Koh Chang)
By plane
Trat airport owned and operated by Bangkok Airways, is located on the
mainland near Lam Ngob . the plane take 40 minutes from Bangkok to Trat.
In the green season (May to October) the flight will available twice a day
but in the high season for travel there will three daily flights to Trat.
Leaving Bangkok at 8.30am, 2.40pm. and 5.00pm. And leaving Trat to Bangkok
at 10.00am., 4.00pm., 7.00pm. You can contact

You have to arrange Round trip transfer from the airport to The Spa Koh
Chang Resort for 1,000 Baht /person / round trip,500 baht / one trip .
Included ferry tickets (Recommended: Because the SPA is in the quiet part
eastern side of the island local taxi will charge you as a private trip)
which can be reserved at the time you make your room reservation.
