Bus / Van from Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok

Option 1 

Government Bus; The bus is scheduled at 08.00 am every day, with a bus fare of 270 Baht/person/trip. Tickets can be reserved and paid at 7-11 store, or contact their call center at +6621344099 for more information. Please inform the bus crew that you are going to Koh Chang. ​ ​ If you would like to book our pick-up service, take you from the ferry pier to The Spa, please let us know in advance. The pick-up service costs 500 Baht/trip for 1-4 people. Once you are on the ferry, please contact us at +66831156566 to confirm.

Option 2

Suvarnabhumi-Burapa minibus/van leaves from Suvarnabhumi airport at 07.30 am and 11.00 am every day. The company’s ticket counter is located on the airport’s floor 1 (Gate 8). A ticket costs 650 Baht/person. For more information, please contact +66837942122 or visit their website. ​If you would like to book our pick-up service, which take you from the ferry pier to The Spa, please let us know in advance. The pick-up service costs 500 Baht/trip/1-4 people. Once you are on the ferry, please contact us at +66831156566 to confirm.  

 

Bus/Van from Ekkamai Bus Station, Bangkok

 

The 999 government bus costs around 300 Baht/person/trip. It leaves Ekkamai bus station at 7.45 am on a daily basis. The bus will take you to the Ao Thammachaart ferry pier on the mainland, to get on the next ferry to Koh Chang.  (The booth ticket at Lamngob pier phone number + 66 88 2123822). If you would like to book our pick-up service, which take you from the ferry pier to The Spa, please let us know in advance. The pick-up service costs 500 baht/trip /1-4 people. Bus from Khao San area (Tani Road), Bangkok

 

The Boonsiri bus costs 900 Baht/person/trip, ferry ticket to Koh Chang included. The bus leaves its office at 7.30 am (information last updated @ 02/11/2023), and ticket can be reserved directly at their website. When booking, please inform the company that you will be going to The Spa Koh Chang Resort.  The bus will take you to the Ao Thammachaart ferry pier on the mainland, to get on the next ferry to Koh Chang. The ticket usually include transfer to hotel but they only go the island's west coast. If you would like to book our pick-up service, which take you from the ferry pier to The Spa, please let us know in advance. The pick-up service costs 500 baht/trip /1-4 people. Flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat Airport

Visit www.bangkokair.com for a domestic flight from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport to Trat airport. Please notify us of your flight detail at least 1 day prior to your travel date so that we can reserve an airport-ferry transfer service for you. The cost of transfer from Trat airport to The Spa is 850 Baht/person/way (ferry ticket included). If your health package includes transfer service from/to the ferry pier, the airport transfer will cost 650 Baht/person/way.

 

Private Taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport or a Hotel in Bangkok 

 

Our private taxi service from Bangkok/Bangkok airport can be arranged at the cost of 5,000 Baht/trip (maximum 2 people). Our trusted partner taxi is a professional group of private taxi driver, with well maintenance vehicle. Drinking water is provided during the trip. Food and bathroom stop can be requested to the driver. In case you are traveling more than 2 people, please contact us for a quotation. The trip takes from 5-6 hours on the road and 40 minutes on the ferry.

Private Car

Koh Chang is located in the eastern part of Thailand, around 330 kms south east of Bangkok. From Bangkok, we recommend you to take the Motorway No.7 (toll), then take the Exit at "Ban Bueng". It will take 4.5-5 hours to drive from downtown Bangkok to the ferry pier. Koh Chang offers two ferry options, allowing you to tailor your journey to your preferences, from the bustling (1) Ao Thammachat ferry pier to the serene and local experience of the (2) Trat ferry (their FB page: Here).

After crossing the ferry, take a left turn at the mainroad, which will take you down to the south-eastern side of the island. The Spa is 21 kilometers away from the Ao Thammachat ferry and 17 kilometers from the Trat ferry. You can follow this link for the google map direction to The Spa Koh Chang Resort.
